Asus ExpertBook, ProArt and Chromebook 2025 Repair and Data Recovery
Asus released 14 ExpertBook, ProArt and Chromebook models in 2025: B1403, B1503, B3405, B3605 and ten more. One earlier model kept its number and changed inside. We repair them at component level and recover data from them, in London or by insured courier from anywhere in the UK.

The model number is on the label underneath the laptop, after the word MODEL. The letters that follow it, such as B9403CVA, identify the exact version.

What is inside a 2025 ExpertBook, ProArt or Chromebook
- ExpertBook B5 B5405/B5605 and B3 B3405/B3605 move to Intel Core Ultra 200H (Arrow Lake) with 16:10 IPS panels; the B3 takes SO-DIMM DDR5 up to 64GB.
- ExpertBook P3 PM3406/PM3606: AMD Ryzen AI 300 (Ryzen AI 7 350, PRO 350 on the 14-inch), two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots, an M.2 2280 plus an M.2 2230 SSD slot, TPM 2.0, 70Wh battery and a 65W or 90W USB-C adapter. P3 P3405/P3605 and B1 B1403/B1503 use 13th-gen Core H (i5-13420H, i7-13620H); P1 PM1403/PM1503 use Ryzen 5 7535HS or Ryzen 7 7735HS.
- ProArt P16 H7606 was refreshed in June 2025 with GeForce RTX 50 graphics (RTX 5070, later an RTX 5090 version) under the same base number, with 32 or 64GB LPDDR5X on board.
- Chromebook CX14 CX1405 and CX15 CX1505 (April 2025): Celeron N4500 on CKA units, Intel N150/N250/Core 3 N355 on CTA units; all use eMMC storage (32-256GB) and soldered LPDDR4X/LPDDR5 RAM, with Chromebook Plus versions on the Core 3 N355.

Data recovery from a 2025 ExpertBook, ProArt or Chromebook
When one of these laptops will not start, the files are usually still there. ExpertBook and ProArt laptops use M.2 NVMe SSDs. Several models have two, sometimes set up as a RAID pair, and with those we need both drives. Business laptops often have BitLocker switched on by the company that issued them, so ask your IT department for the recovery key. Chromebooks are different: the files are encrypted to your Google account and the storage is often soldered to the board, so recovery depends on getting the Chromebook itself to start. Anything synced to Google Drive is not affected.
Windows 11 switches on device encryption on many of these laptops without asking. If the drive is encrypted we need the BitLocker recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.

Can you recover my files if the laptop will not turn on?
In most cases, yes. On ExpertBook and ProArt laptops the SSD can be removed and read directly. On a Chromebook, recovery depends on getting the Chromebook itself to start. The first look is free.
