Asus VivoBook 2026 Repair and Data Recovery
Asus kept the previous model numbers for its 2026 VivoBook laptops and changed the parts inside. We repair them at component level and recover data from them, in London or by insured courier from anywhere in the UK.

What is inside a 2026 VivoBook
- The 2026 models keep the 2025 base numbers; the two-letter code after the number identifies the platform: AA = Intel Core Ultra Series 3, GA = AMD Ryzen AI 400 (Ryzen AI 7 445), NA = Qualcomm Snapdragon X2, QA = the earlier Snapdragon X.
- VivoBook 14 X1407AA / 16 X1607AA (announced 7 January 2026): Intel Core Ultra Series 3, 16:10 WUXGA IPS, 16GB DDR5 onboard plus one SO-DIMM slot (32GB maximum), up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, 42Wh or 70Wh battery, 68W USB-C charger.
- VivoBook S14 S3407AA / S16 S3607AA (announced 7 January 2026): Intel Core Ultra Series 3 with 16:10 WUXGA OLED; the S14 has 16GB onboard plus one SO-DIMM slot, M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 storage, a 70Wh battery and a 68W USB-C charger. AMD versions are M3407GA / M3607GA, and the S16 S3607NA uses a Snapdragon X2 Elite.

Data recovery from a 2026 VivoBook
When one of these laptops will not start, the files are usually still there. Most VivoBooks store everything on an M.2 NVMe SSD, which we can take out and read directly when the laptop has failed. Budget E-series and Go models may instead have eMMC storage soldered to the board; with those, the data can only be reached by working on the board itself.
Windows 11 switches on device encryption on many of these laptops without asking. If the drive is encrypted we need the BitLocker recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.

Can you recover my files if the laptop will not turn on?
In most cases, yes. On most VivoBooks the SSD can be removed and read directly. On E-series and Go models with soldered storage, the board has to be worked on first. The first look is free.
