Asus ZenBook 2025 Repair and Data Recovery
Asus released two ZenBook models in 2025: UX3407 and UX5606. Four earlier models kept their numbers and changed inside. We repair them at component level and recover data from them, in London or by insured courier from anywhere in the UK.
ZenBook models released in 2025
The model number is on the label underneath the laptop, after the word MODEL. The letters that follow it, such as UX3405MA, identify the exact version.

What is inside a 2025 ZenBook
- CPU platforms: Qualcomm Snapdragon X / X Elite (A14 UX3407, a Windows on Arm machine), Intel Core Ultra 200H Arrow Lake (UX3405CA, UX8406CA), Intel Core Ultra 200V Lunar Lake (S 16 UX5606) and AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 (UM3406KA, UM5606KA).
- All OLED: 14-inch 1920x1200 60Hz or 3K 120Hz panels on the 14-inch models, 16-inch 3K 120Hz on the S 16.
- RAM is soldered LPDDR5X across the range (S 16 UX5606: 16GB or 32GB on-package). S 16 UX5606 has one M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slot, a 78Wh battery and a 65W USB-C charger; Duo UX8406CA has one M.2 2280 slot and a 75Wh battery.

Data recovery from a 2025 ZenBook
When one of these laptops will not start, the files are usually still there. ZenBooks from these years store everything on an M.2 NVMe SSD. The memory is usually soldered to the board, but the SSD is not, so when the laptop itself has failed we can take the SSD out and read it directly.
Windows 11 switches on device encryption on many of these laptops without asking. If the drive is encrypted we need the BitLocker recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.

Can you recover my files if the laptop will not turn on?
In most cases, yes. The SSD in a ZenBook can be removed and read directly, even when the motherboard has failed. The first look is free.
